Every day brings Canna Provisions closer to opening our second recreational cannabis store in 2019, and we couldn’t be more thrilled and ready to go. Our first Berkshires marijuana dispensary has been so warmly received and supported by the town of Lee since opening this July, we’re excited to bring our way of doing business to the historic city of Holyoke, Massachusetts.
Our flagship Holyoke cannabis dispensary will be located in the former Hampden Paper Company mill complex at 380 Dwight Street. Owned and operated by American Writing Paper beginning in 1899, the paper factory has more recently been used as an artist colony. Creative expression and passion have filled this magical space for decades and our restoration of 380 Dwight will honor that rich history.
Our Holyoke Dispensary Design
These renders from our architectural and design firm tell a marvelous story about where the best place to buy pot in Holyoke will be by the end of this year.
Guests will be welcomed in our reception area first to begin a cannabis shopping experience like no other. After confirming the guest is over the age of 21, they are welcomed onto the retail sales floor by one of our Guides.
Arched brick vaults repeat throughout the entire first floor of the building, creating a space that is truly stunning. These arches create a sense of cozy and orderly intimacy within the rambling first floor of this old, old mill building. At this point in the story, it’s easy to imagine our guests needing a moment to take in the dramatic setting, infectious energy, and incredible natural light.
Displays all around the store will feature and showcase our selection of cannabis flower, marijuana concentrates, smoking tools and accessories, vape pens and vaporizers, marijuana tinctures, CBD tinctures, infused edibles, infused topicals and more. It will be such fun to hang out and shop in this space!
Construction is still underway to make this dream a reality.
Our first Holyoke job fair earlier this month introduced us to a number of great people we’re excited to keep talking with, and we’re scheduling another job fair for a Saturday soon. If you’re interested in finding work in the legal marijuana business, send a cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org today!
Special thanks to Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse, whose commitment to the resurgence of this historic city is truly inspiring. We can’t wait for Holyoke!
